Features (Experimental)
The Settings → Features section holds Jaade's experimental and opt-in capabilities. Some require an app restart to take effect — Jaade tells you when.
The toggles
| Feature | Restart? | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Tasks | Yes | The Task Board view and the Settings → Task Providers section. |
| Mini Apps | Yes | The Mini Apps view for building and running small, git-versioned apps inside Jaade. |
| SSH | Yes | Remote terminals + SFTP via the SSH Connections panel. |
| OpenCode | Yes | The OpenCode agent (also needs the opencode CLI on PATH). |
| Cursor | — | The Cursor agent (also needs a Cursor API key). |
| Computer Use | — | Desktop control for agents (macOS only). |
| Browser Use | — | Chrome control for agents (any OS). |
Notes
- Tasks and SSH both require a restart after toggling; the related views and panels appear once you're back.
- OpenCode and Cursor are hidden from the agent pickers entirely while disabled. Cursor additionally needs an API key (Agents configuration).
- Computer Use and Browser Use are master gates. Each is consented to again per chat via a toggle in the composer — turning the feature on here doesn't make any single session drive your desktop or browser; the per-chat toggle does. Both can also be installed for terminal agents from this section.
Install for terminal agents
For Computer Use and Browser Use, an Install for terminal agents action writes the bundled MCP server into your Claude, Codex, OpenCode, and Cursor configs (idempotent; it repairs paths after app updates), so agents you run in a terminal — not just in-app sessions — can use them.
